Project: ImprezaRSX

ImprezaRSX is my 2001 2.5RS Coupe. It started off as just N/A bolt ons and has become a full blown, purpose built track car. Last year the car had an extensive mod list. Now the car is going through a complete engine/drivetrain overhaul as well as some chasis work. To start off the car will be running a lower displacement of 2.35L using custom length rods, pistons and a shorter stroke. Combined with custom heads and cams the car will be turning over 9k rpm and sporting twin GT2840R turbos. Twins have often been attemped on these cars with little success due to some fundamental errors made by the kit fabricators. I have researched and calculated the proper way to do this setup and I should get a solid power band from 4k to 9k rpm with excellent driveability. Combined with a Hydra Nemesis ECU and Methanol injection I anticipate horsepower to be deep in the 700s.
