I'm in trouble... |
|
I now have the diesel bug!!! I bought my F250, SuperCab, 6-spd, 4x4, with an 8ft bed and 5th wheel to be the tow rig BUUUUUUUT now I'm bitten by the modding bug. I'm trying so hard to fight is as I have to finish up both cars first...
Figured I'd share my joy and misery. I will also have a programmer for it before I fly you out dom. I think I'll have several cars for you to tune...including my moms outback.
Filling up 38 gallons at a time really sucks too. So I'm already looking at making a homemade biodiesel station and getting a 78 gallon tank...see what I mean by I've been bitten.

funny shit.
I have HPTuners.... I think that'll work with your truck. What year is it?
Trust me, having the modding bug with your only running car isn't smart. Just look at me and my 3 f**k*** up cars. I was in the process of changing engines in my BG5 and my RS, but I was also f**k*** with the STi. Now I have a busted piston in the STi and it barely runs, blew up my RS and there still isn't an engine in the wagon.
One car at a time my friend.

Just because I drive a Subaru doesn't mean I drive like an asshole... it's just a coincidence.
5 Subarus over 300hp... even running on 3 cylinders |

I still debating between the sct and edge products...it is getting and intake, exhaust and tuner as they all increase fuel economy and will help when it comes time to tow the 32ft enclosed trailer loaded for a race weekend
so glad I have the 5th wheel!!!
cool thing is that in low-low my axle ratio or crawl ratio is 66.78:1...stock I already have 500 lb-ft...after mods expect about 700 at the ground then multiply

vern, you are pretty close to what I'm starting on...I'm getting a 62 gallon under truck and 110 gallon in bed tank as well as building a biodiesel processor. So "converted" vegi oil
should come out to about $0.80 a gallon compared to $3.49 at the pump right now.
